SALE OF PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY TAX DEED

 

 

The Town of Marlow will sell at public sale by sealed bid.  Land located off Baine Road, Map 411 Lot 011.  This land consists of 3.8 acres and is located on a Class VI road.  It is not a buildable lot.  The minimum bid for this property is $8,200.  Said property will be sold “as is”.  Sealed bids will be accepted at the Marlow Town Office, located at 167 NH Route 123, Marlow, NH03456, until 3:30 P.M. Friday, February 10th 2023.  Bids will be publicly opened at the Select Board’s meeting, Monday, February 20th at 6:30 P.M.  All bids must be submitted in writing to the Marlow Town Office, in a sealed envelope marked “Sale of Property:  Tax Map 411 Lot 011 and accompanied by contact information for the bidder.

Property shall be conveyed to the highest bidder, subject to conditions set forth.  The successful bidder, upon receipt of notification of their successful bid, shall deliver to the Town the bid price by certified check, cash or check drawn by a New Hampshire bank within thirty (30) days thereof.  If said payment is not received within such time, the town may rescind its award and award the next highest bidder.  The Select Board reserves the right to consider, accept or reject any or all bids as they deem is in the best interest of the Town of Marlow.  Please refer to the ‘Land Use Regulations, Ordinances, & Procedures of the Town of Marlow, NH for zoning related questions.  Our tax maps can be found on our website www.marlownh.gov.
